Kuldeep Khanapurkar

Kuldeep Khanapurkar is a member of the Barings Asia equity investment team and the co-investment manager of the Barings Asia Growth Fund and the Barings Eastern Pearl Fund. He is responsible for leading the research and stock selection for the Indian equity market. Kuldeep began his career in 2004 and entered the investment industry in 2006. Before joining Barings in 2015, he worked at Kotak Asset Management in Mumbai, where he was responsible for research on Indian equities. Kuldeep is a member of the CFA Institute and a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pune in India and is fluent in English and Hindi.

Kapil Modi

Since joining Carlyle in 2008, Kapil Modi has been involved in a variety of investments, including Tirumala Milk Products, Newgen Knowledge Works, Cyient, Visen Industries, VBHC Value Homes, South Indian Bank, and Allsec. Mr. Modi serves on the boards of Newgen and Allsec.
Mr. Modi holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for outstanding academic achievements. He also earned a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he received a Silver Medal for ranking first in the Computer Science and Engineering department. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master of Laws in Business Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

Sundeep Bihani

Sundeep Bihani joined Eastspring Investments as a Portfolio Manager in April 2008. Sundeep is part of the Equity team and a member of the Regional Asia Value focus team. He is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Regional Asia Equity strategies.

Neeraj Bharadwaj

Neeraj Bharadwaj is the Managing Director of Carlyle India Advisors Private Limited, focusing on growth capital and buyout opportunities across various sectors in India. Before joining Carlyle in 2012, Mr. Bharadwaj served as the Managing Director of Accel Partners' India growth investing operations. Prior to this, he worked at Apax Partners for nearly a decade, where he was a Partner in the U.S. and later took on the role of Managing Director/Country Head of Apax India, leading the firm's operations in the country. His investment involvement includes Apollo Hospitals (BSE: AHEL), Jamdat (NASDAQ: JMDT), Widerthan (NASDAQ: WTHN), among others. Before that, Mr. Bharadwaj was a Project Leader at McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Bharadwaj has been elected to the board of the Indian School of Business (ISB), named a Global Young Leader by the World Economic Forum (WEF), a board member of Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ), a member of the South Asia Advisory Board of Harvard Business School, a member of the Wharton School's Executive Education Board, a member of the Young Presidents' Organization, and previously served as the Chairman of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee of FICCI.
Mr. Bharadwaj serves on the boards of companies such as Hexaware, Indegene, Nxtra Data Centers, Piramal Pharma, Sequent Scientific, Dailyhunt, and CorroHealth. Previously, he has been on the boards of Delhivery Logistics, Global Health, Metropolis Healthcare, and Visionary RCM. Mr. Bharadwaj earned his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
